2001 V70 XC Turbo - turn signal lights
2001, V70 XC Turbo - The right turn signal oprates at a much faster rate than the left. If I use emergency they flash normal. This has been intermit but now is much more often.
Message I receive is "bad bulb" I have replace all bulbs for the right turn. Checked for good grounding, and still have problem. I think it may be flasher, but I can not locate flasher to replace. I'm at a lost if it is not the flasher. Please help me locate the flasher and provide any other help you feel would be helpful. Thanks |

RE: 2001 V70 XC Turbo - turn signal lights
Not familiar with this car in paticular but usually the cause of one side flashing at a different rate than the other is related to the load on the circuit. IOW, there's a different numbers of bulbs because one is burned out.
What I'm getting at is you should take a look at both the front and rear of the car and see how many bulbs are working on each side when the signals are on. Chances are you will see a dark area behind one lens and that's a clue there's more than one bulb inside that particular housing. Also note that there may be side lights on the fenders of some cars. Sorry for the delay in response. Make sure that the bulbs are the correct ones. I would go the the dealer. I have seen Jeeps that would set the check bulb message on the dash and the bulbs are good but not the correct wattage. Also thanks Rupe.
