Having trouble with stalling as i'm driving and/or slowing.  I have a new fuel pump, filter, coil, distributor, and plug wires.  Let it sit for a few minutes and it fires up and runs again.  If I try too soon sometimes knocks, diesels and dies.  Where do I go from here?

Is this fuel inj? If so I would suspect the main relay. Below is a picture of its location.

I had a customer with one similar . ended up being the gas cap was not venting causing fuel starvation. Stall , press would equalize. and go again. Drive with cap loosened . worth a try .
